The Super Bowl Recipe That May Just Kill You

Bad For You Pizza Burgers

Ok, this is not something you should eat regularly (if ever):

And just so you know, I am a guy, my measurements may not be exact. You may have to work some of them out for yourself.

1 can Spam (You can use Lite Spam, but that’s ridiculous)
1 can Hormel Chili no beans (You can use the turkey version, and you can use WITH beans if you want it gluten free, but that too is ridiculous…the gluten is not what is going to make you sick on this one)
1 onion (size is up to you)
Some shredded cheese (one cup sounds about right)
Bagels (or english muffins, or mini bagels if you want to make this an appetizer)

Directions:

  • Empty the cans into a bowl

  • Add the onion and cheese (Dice the onion first!)

  • Mash it all up with a potato masher (Be warned: your kitchen will smell like Sioux City for a little while)

  • Spread the mixture on to your base

  • Place under broiler and cook until finished (this one is your call too)

Calories: I think about a million
Sodium: Again, about a million
Guilt: Also, very high…about a million sounds right
