How to Make A Caprese Salad

So simple to make, and so fresh and easy. Caprese Saladrelies on just a few perfect ingredients: vine-ripened tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, bright green basil, fruity olive oil and if desired, balsamic vinegar. Use only the very ripest tomatoes, as their juices mix with the olive oil and balsamic to make the dressing. It is important that the oil and balsamic vinegar be of the highest quality, because the difference between an average and a superior one will be evident here!!

Ingredients:
1 large vine ripened tomato

8-10 fresh basil leaves

fresh mozzarella (I used a pre-sliced brand)

1 tablespoon olive oil (Just enough to drizzle over tomatoes)

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (Just enough for drizzle)

salt and pepper to taste.

I just layered tomatoes,mozzarella and stuck in some basil leaves! Add salt and pepper and drizzle the oil and vinegar over the top! SOSOOOO good! Enjoy!!!
