SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The City of Sioux Falls awarded a long term branch removal contract to Ceres Environmental from Minnesota.
Director of Public Works Mark Cotter says Ceres is a national disaster recovery company and the contract provides hauling service for the clean up.
Cotter thanks local companies that dropped everything and brought assests to the initial push. He says that includes Stone Hill Construction, Double-H Paving, Runge Enterprises, Soukup Construction, Myrl and Roy's Paving, T and R Contracting, First Rate Excavating, Friessen Construction and Metro Contracting. Cotter says the city owes those contractors a big thank you.
Cotter says the City will pay Ceres by the ton of branches hauled to the drop-off sites. Ceres will begin work on Monday
