Sioux Falls, SD (KWSN)-The Sioux Falls Stampede have signed a lease agreement that makes the Herd the first official tenant of the new Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. They hope to take the ice at the still-to-be-completed Center for the 2014-2015 season.
The contract is for five years with an option to extend for another five years beginning in 2019‒2020. .
The Denny Sanford PREMIER Center is a state-of-the-art, multipurpose facility that will open in the fall of 2014 and just prior to the start of the 2014‒2015 United States Hockey League (USHL) season.
While the facility is much larger than the current Sioux Falls Arena, the Stampede’s new venue also will bring fans closer than ever to all the exciting action. For the first time ever, fans will have the opportunity to sit on top of the action and enjoy ice-level views all the way around the NHL-regulation-size rink.
Corporate partners will have the opportunity to advertise in front of the largest fan base in the league like never before with an LED video display system that includes a center-hung scoreboard and a 360-degree ribbon display along the seating bowl, as well as several other new advertising options.
“We are thrilled to be moving into the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center,” stated Stampede CEO/President Tom Garrity. “This is a very exciting day for our organization."
