DETROIT (WKZO) -- A High School Basketball team at a college preparatory High School in Detroit is having a spectacular season but it turned tragic this weekend when their head coach collapsed and died after their latest game.
The Consortium High School Cougars had just beaten Dayton, Ohio Dunbar 81 to 44 when head coach Al Anderson collapsed and died. The Detroit News reports that Anderson was in his early 40’s.
Consortium is number two in the state’s Class C high school rankings.
