SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The second annual "Party for the Sylvia Henkin State Theater" is this weekend in downtown Sioux Falls.
Theater Executive Director Steve Williamson says the State is partnering with local businesses for a three-day festival focusing on art, music and movies.
Williamson says all money raised this weekend goes to the State, specifically for a new curtain.
"Party for the State" begins Friday night with "Be Still," an art show at Ipso Gallery featuring the first-ever commissioned Theater art piece by James Sturdevant.
The party continues Saturday at Skelly's with the Austin Buescher band and wraps up Sunday with a foreign film presentation at the Icon Lounge.
Williamson says more information and tickets for the weekend are available on-line at siouxfallsstatetheater.org
