PIERRE, S.D. - Attorney General Marty Jackley has been selected to serve as Vice President of the National Association of Attorneys General. The Association’s members are the Attorneys General of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealths of Puerto Rico and the Northern Mariana Islands, and the territories of American Samoa, Guam, and the Virgin Islands. Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood (D) was selected to serve as the President-Elect. Wisconsin Attorney General J. B. Van Hollen (R) is the current President. The annual meeting was held this week in Boston, Massachusetts. “I am honored to serve alongside my fellow State Attorneys General working to improve public safety and to protect consumers. Serving in a leadership position in the National Association will further assist me in identifying and addressing issues that directly impact South Dakota,” said Jackley.
