SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The headliner for this summer's JazzFest is nine-time Grammy Award winner Sheryl Crow.

     Sioux Falls Jazz and Blues Executive Director Rob Joyce made the announcement this morning at a press conference at the Washington Pavilion.  

     Crow will perform Saturday, July 20 at Yankton Trail Park.  JazzFest is a free, three day event held annually in Sioux Falls.  This year's event is July 18th through the 20th.

     Joyce says 75-thousand fans listened to Joe Walsh headline last summer's JazzFest.  He estimates the economic impact at between $9 and $12 million dollars.

     Midcontinent Communications is providing the financial support to bring Sheryl Crow to JazzFest.
