The Band Perry will premiere their sophomore album, Pioneer, with a free show in their hometown of Greeneville, TN on Saturday night.  The album doesn't hit stores until Tuesday, so the sibling trio's friends and neighbors will be the first to hear the new music.

The group returned to Greeneville to premiere their debut album a few years back as well, and The Band Perry's success is a big source of pride for the people who live there.

Lead singer Kimberly Perry says, "They're just so proud to have this music and this band be from our small town, so it truly is a celebratory day, with the premiere, and we're so excited to do it."

The performance will literally shut down Greeneville's Main Street, and The Band Perry will use the town's natural geography to create an amphitheater feel.

"We're gonna set up a stage on one end of our downtown," explains Reid Perry , "and there's a big hill that leads through Main Street, and so we're gonna have people all up on the hill and we're gonna be playing at the bottom, so it'll be a good time."

The Band Perry concert is being presented by the Green County Partnership to raise money for Outnumber Hunger, a campaign to fight hunger spearheaded by General Mills, Big Machine Label Group and Feeding America.
