Friday night, Toby Keith lends his voice to a documentary about a tragedy that hit close to home and close to his heart. The country superstar narrates an NBA TV special about the May tornado that devastated his hometown of Moore, Oklahoma.
OKC Thunder: Heart of the City focuses on how the basketball team connected with residents and reached out as they tried to rebuild. All-Stars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook led the team as they relocated one of their training camp practices to a high school in Moore, as a way to lift their neighbors' spirits and show their support.
Toby also reflects on how the storm affected him, along with his mother and sister, who still live in Moore today. The special airs at 7 p.m. ET on NBA TV.
