Carrie Underwood will receive the 2014 Artist Humanitarian Award from the Country Radio Broadcasters at the Country Radio Seminar in Nashville this February. The trophy recognizes country artists who have "exhibited exceptional humanitarian efforts during their career."

Carrie has made a point to give back since she hit the country scene in 2005. Her C.A.T.S. Foundation was founded to fund charitable efforts in her hometown of Checotah, OK.  In addition to her work with the USO, Make-a-Wish Foundation, Pedigree's Pet Adoption Campaign and Save the Children, Carrie also donated one million dollars of the proceeds from last year's Blown Away tour to the American and Canadian Red Cross for disaster relief.

Past recipients of the Artist Humanitarian Award include Rascal Flatts , Tim McGraw and Faith Hill , Reba , Garth Brooks , Brad Paisley among others.
