SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police may have gotten a break in a spree of pop machine robberies that over the months have cost one company twenty-thousand dollars in money and damages.
Officer Sam Clemens says a surveillance camera recorded a suspect breaking into a pop machine at the Fast Car Wash on West 43rd Street.
Clemens says that since last summer thieves have damaged and stolen about $20,000 from Coke machines alone in Sioux Falls. There have not been estimates for other pop machines. He says this is one suspect detectives want to interview.
Clemens says the suspect took the bill acceptor out of the machine.
