HURON, S.D.9KELO-AM) – The South Dakota State Fair Foundation plans to announce the donor of a major gift of $1 million to the Capital Campaign for the building of a new exhibit hall on the South Dakota State Fairgrounds.
The announcement will be made at 1 p.m. CDT on Tuesday, April 15, at the South Dakota Beadle County Department of Health Building located at 1110 3rd St. in Huron. The public is welcome to attend.
The Foundation’s goal is to raise $4 million for the project.
The new 46,910 square-foot exhibit hall will feature more than 35,000 square feet of exhibit space, multiple classrooms, a large kitchen for 4-H Special Foods competitions, year-round concessions and a performance stage.
