St. Paul, MN. (KELO-AM) Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton announced Monday the new campaign to entice the NFL to bring the Super Bowl to the new indoor stadium in the Twin Cities in 2018.

The committee co-chairmen are all prominent business leaders: Doug Baker, Chairman and CEO of Ecolab, Marilyn Carlson Nelson, former Chairman of Carlson, and Richad Davis, Chairman-CEO of U.S. Bancorp.

Governor Dayton says the Superbowl could mean close to a half-billion dollars in economic impact to Minnesota and surrounding region.
