UNDATED (WHTC) -- Max Scherzer allowed just one run on four hits over seven innings, helping the Tigers down the Dodgers 4-1 and complete a two-game series sweep. The right-hander struck out seven and walked two, winning his third straight decision. The trifecta of Scherzer, Joba Chamberlain and Joe Nathan held Los Angeles to just four hits overall. Austin Jackson had two hits and scored twice and Don Kelly also had two hits and drove in run for the Tigers, who won three of four from the Dodgers this season. The Tigers head to Kansas City for a four game weekend series before the All-Star break. Coverage on 1450 WHTC gets underway at 7:45 P.M.
