(WNFL)- No criminal charges will be filed in Florida against former Green Bay Packers' safety Darren Sharper. The former All-Pro is charged in both Los Angeles and Tempe Arizona, after he allegedly helped drug women and then sexually assaulted them after they passed out late last year. Authorities in Las Vegas and New Orleans were investigating similar allegations. In Miami Beach, police said today that an investigation turned up no corroborating witnesses, inconsistent statements from an alleged victim, and no physical evidence. The Miami victim said her assault happened last September -- but she did not report it until January, after seeing T-V news accounts of the Los Angeles case. Sharper started his 14-year NFL career in Green Bay. He also played for Minnesota and New Orleans.
