Things you wouldn't care to know about Dusty and were too afraid to ask:

My first job: I was the philanthropist of the family enjoying not one or two, but three paper routes in Southeast Minnesota. At the age of 10 I had two separate loans out to family members charging a nominal interest rate...hey it was family!

The household chore I hate the most: Cleaning the gutters! I can't stand heights. I get woozy on the six foot step ladder.

I am better than anyone I know when it comes to: Remembering phone numbers. Call it a gift from God. I may not remember to pay bills or keep birthdays straight, but give me a phone number and I can remember it for years. I am still able to remember all phone numbers growing up...can you??

All-time favorite movie: Any Harrison Ford flick. He is an incredible actor. He and James Earl Jones are class acts in Hollywood.

I love to pig out on: Food...period. Pizza is top on the list. Anything off the grill and sweet corn in the heat of August.

Favorite weekend getaway: This should be no surprise...Minneapolis/St. Paul. My children live in the "Twins" and we enjoy going up for weekends to hit the Megamall or any indoor swimming complex in the winter months...a nice retreat from the tundra.

Favorite Quote: Life is too short to drink bad wine. The wife and I enjoy a good glass of wine and feel the quote is good. We lost a good friend to cancer a few years back now. Shortly after his death, Mrs. Fields ran across this quote and we have tried to remember it daily. Mrs. Fields is better at it than I am...but it is true. We only have today...why waste it what little time you are given. Enjoy the best that life has to offer you.

There you have it! Thanks for listening to Genuine Country. We realize that you have a choice in airlines and we are thankful that you fly with us!
