SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — South Dakotans who work full time are taking in below-average earnings from their jobs, one report says.
An analysis by Lattice Publishing on behalf of Smartest Dollar put South Dakota’s median earnings (adjusted for cost of living) at $50,039. The national median is $50,078.
South Dakota ranked 27th among states in the metric. Sioux Falls’ adjusted median income was pegged at $51,068, 8.7% below the national average.
