Over the weekend (2/14) my wife and I watched a movie called A Real Pain. This movie stars Jessie Eisenberg and Kieren Culkin as two cousins touring Poland, retracing their grandmothers steps of life, one of them is super social, the other is an anxious mess. It’s a GREAT movie. A Real Pain as a title has more than one meaning when talking about this movie. At times, it can be a hard watch. If you know someone who acts like Culkin’s character Benji, this movie can actually be really overwhelming. But overall, it’s a great watch, and I’d highly recommend it! My wife dakota watched this for her first time as well and said: “I loved this movie. It’s really great what the characters go through, and you feel like you know them by the end of the movie. It’s a really tragic tale, with a satisfying ending. A Real Pain is a real pain in many ways, but you’ll have to watch the movie to find out why.”
I give this one 4 out of 5 stars
