PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — Work may soon be required for some Medicaid recipients in South Dakota. The state is asking the federal government for a waiver to allow the new rules for able-bodied recipients. Voters approved the new work requirements last year. Public hearings are scheduled for May 30th in Pierre and June 12th in Sioux Falls.
