SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — South Dakota State was picked third and South Dakota sixth in the preseason poll for the Missouri Valley Football Conference’s spring 2021 season.
North Dakota State has been tabbed as the Missouri Valley Football Conference pre-season favorite in a poll conducted by league coaches. Northern Iowa was second.
Two Jackrabbits were named preseason all-conference: running back Pierre Strong Jr. and defensive back Don Gardner. Five Coyotes made the preseason all-league team: running back Kai Henry, tight end Brett Samson, offensive lineman Mason Scheidegger, linebacker Jack Cochrane, and punter Brady Schutt.
