PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — So far, Governor Rhoden has only vetoed one bill. His veto survived a state House vote Thursday morning. The measure would have provided childcare assistance payments to childcare workers. Sponsor Representative Erin Healey of Sioux Falls tried to rally support to override the veto.
The House voted 27 – 43 against overriding the veto.
