Sioux Falls man acquitted of murder in Dunham Park shooting, convicted of aggravated assault

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Not guilty of murder.  Lamont Burks, Jr. was acquitted by a Minnehaha County jury yesterday in the shooting that left 29-year old Joshua Allen, Jr. dead in a Sioux Falls park two years ago.  Burks was found guilty on two counts of aggravated assault.
