Sioux Falls apartment fire under investigation

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Fire and Rescue is investigating the cause of a fire in an apartment building in the southern part of the city.  Heavy smoke and flames were coming from an apartment and the roof of the building in the 4400 block of Tennis lane when crews arrived late Friday.  It took them an hour and a half to extinguish the fire, and crews stayed on the scene for four hours to monitor hot spots.
