Standoff ends with arrest

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — A 26 year old Sioux falls man faces aggravated assault and property damage charges after a standoff with police.  Meles Kuku Adris is accused of threatening two occupants of a home with knives, demanding car keys.  The occupants left the residence and called police.  Adris refused to leave, throwing objects and damaging an Armored Rescue Vehicle in the process.  Chemical munitions were deployed, and he was arrested.
