SAM success a highlight of Mayor’s term in office

Outgoing Mayor Paul TenHaken says one of the highlights of his eight years in office has been the success of Sioux Area Metro – or SAM.  The City developed a partnership with the transportation company Via, and SAM ridership has jumped 37 percent since then.  TenHaken says the improvements in service have helped employment in the city and spurred economic growth.  He will step down as mayor on July 17th.
