PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — One person is dead after his vehicle went into the Missouri River near the Oahe Dam. Anglers witnessed a vehicle entering the river near the powerhouse at about 7:15 Monday morning. Divers located the vehicle and removed the lone male occupant. Life saving measures were not successful. At the same time, a paramedic is recovering from cardiac arrest he suffered during the recovery and was airlifted to the Avera heart Hospital in Sioux Falls.
