SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) – The Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources is warning of an algae bloom on Wall Lake.
Officials say the algae can be seen on the shoreline and floating on some parts of the lake’s surface.
The lake gets tested three times per year in June, July and August. It most recently experienced high levels of algae in 2024.
Officials say the warning indicates that the water is unsafe for swimming.
