Oct 16 (Reuters) – Railroad operator Union Pacific said on Friday its Chief Financial Officer Jennifer Hamann will retire in early 2027, after 35 years with the company.
• Hamann was appointed CFO in January 2020, making her the first woman to hold the role at Union Pacific
• She joined Union Pacific in 1992 and has held leadership positions across the company
• Union Pacific said it will announce its succession plans at a later date
• Last year, Union Pacific agreed to buy rival Norfolk Southern in an $85 billion deal to create the first US coast-to-coast freight rail operator, a merger currently under the US transport regulator’s review
