Sioux Falls Canaries Playoff
The high-scoring Sioux Falls Canaries are ONE win away from playing for a league championship, and they have at least two games at The Birdcage to get it done, if needed!
Having already taken down the American Association of Professional Baseball's top team in incredible, come-from-behind fireworks display fashion in the first round of the playoffs last weekend in Sioux City, the Birds will host second round playoff games at The Birdcage on Friday at 6:35 p.m. and Saturday, if needed, against another rival — the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks. The best-of-five second round series has the Canaries leading 2-1 after winning in dramatic fashion last night.
First pitch is at 6:35 p.m. both nights, with gates opening at 5:35 p.m. All tickets to these games are just $10, except in the "Diamond Club" behind home plate, where for $30, fans get padded up-close seats and an "all-inclusive wristband," meaning all the hot dogs, bratwursts, and hamburgers you can eat, plus all the domestic beer and/or water you can drink. Also, 12 oz. Cans of Coors Light will be on sale for $2.25 until first pitch.
All this, in addition to the same family-friendly, all-ages, wildly fun fan experience that includes wacky fan-engaging entertainment — games, diverse music, funny videos — a Kids Zone, with a playground and bounce house, mascots Cagey & Peep, and show host Harry Canary.
If the Canaries win in front of home fans, they will advance to Miles Wolff Cup Final — the American Association of Professional Baseball's league championship series — for the fourth time in the 33-season modern history of the club and the first time in five years.
If Fargo wins on Friday, The Birdcage will host a winner-take-all Game 5 on Saturday night at 6:35 p.m., with the same ticket and food deals.
