VERMILLION, S.D. (KELO.com) -Weekly women’s and men’s doubleheaders on back-to-back nights highlight conference play as The Summit League released its schedule Wednesday.
Each team is slated to play 16 games over the course of nine weeks starting Jan. 2 and leading up to the Summit League Tournament March 6-9 and the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls.
The doubleheaders will be played Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday each week. The Coyotes open at home with Denver Jan. 2-3. USD will also host Omaha (Jan. 29-30), Oral Roberts (Feb. 20-21) and North Dakota State (Feb. 27-28). Road trips include Kansas City (Jan. 8-9), Western Illinois (Jan. 22-23), South Dakota State (Feb. 5-6) and North Dakota (Feb. 12-13).
The announcement came as Coyote basketball season tickets are open for renewal and new season tickets are now available. Fans can purchase tickets online at GoYotes.com/Tickets or by calling the USD ticket office at 605-677-5959.

Regarding COVID-19, South Dakota athletics will continue to take steps to protect fans, coaches and student-athletes. One of those steps includes reseating the Sanford Coyote Sports Center based on social distancing measures. Season ticket holders will be seated based on Coyote Points accumulated.

- Reserved Adult: $225
- Reserved Youth: $125
- Bench Adult: $175
- Bench Youth: $100
