Growing up in southwest Minnesota, my cousin and I had our own radio station (somewhere I still have cassette tapes of it). I landed my first real radio job as a junior in high school. In the early 90’s, I pestered KTWB until they hired me. It was an amazing stretch of years, but I sidelined radio so I could raise kids, dogs, cats, and some chickens. Country music has always been the background music of my life. Being back in the fold, and at KTWB, is an incredible feeling.
