Cause of Mitchell fire still unknown – but suspicious

MITCHELL, SD (KELO.com) — Six months later, and Mitchell Fire Department officials are still looking for the cause of a fire that destroyed the Perkins restaurant.  So far, none of the material they’ve tested has established a cause for the fire.  Still, Fire Marshal Shannon Sandoval says the blaze is suspicious.

Sandoval is encouraging anyone who may know something about the fire to contact the Mitchell Police Department.  The fire put nearly 40 employees out of work.
