RAPID CITY, SD (KELO.com) — 45 years in Federal Prison for a regional drug kingpin. 43-year old Juan Sertuche was arrested in 2023 with 15-hundred fentanyl pills. That followed the arrest of couriers under his direction who possessed 19 pounds of methamphetamine.
After his arrest he directed others to continue the drug distribution efforts, which stretched from Denver to the Black Hills. Sertuche was also sentenced for firearms violations after he directed others in his organization to collect and trade guns used in his distribution ring and trade them for methamphetamine. Among those weapons were two fully automatic machine guns, which are illegal to possess.
