PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — South Dakota tourism officials say a new ad campaign aimed at summer travelers is already showing strong results. The “Free to Roam” campaign encourages visitors to explore the state’s open roads, outdoor adventures, and cultural attractions. State tourism leaders say travel-planning activity on the South Dakota tourism website jumped 174 percent compared to the same time last year.
