Trial begins in Dunham Park shooting

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — The Lamont Burks murder trial got underway in Sioux Falls Monday.  He’s accused of unleashing a barrage of bullets that killed 29 year old Joshua Allen Jr. in a Sioux Falls park two years ago.  Prosecutors say a meeting between two groups started as a fight.  When it was finished, Allen was killed and more than 30 shell casings were recovered from the scene.
