Company permitted to build infrastructure in connection with uranium project

FALL RIVER COUNTY, SD (KELO.com) — The Bureau of Land Management has approved infrastructure work connected with a controversial uranium project.  All nine Sioux Tribes have expressed opposition to the project, which could impact ten-thousand acres in Fall River County.  A company has been given the go-ahead to build access roads, monitoring wells and power lines on 240 acres in the area managed by the Bureau.
