ROCK VALLEY, IA (KELO.com) — The Federal Government is ready to write the checks for homes destroyed in Rock Valley, Iowa two years ago. The Federal Emergency Management Administration – FEMA – has delegated over $22-million for the buyouts. The city will purchase the properties, demolish the homes and use the area as open space.
