SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — As promised, Christine Erickson has announced members of her transition team. She will take the oath office as the first woman mayor for Sioux Falls Friday afternoon. Matt Paulson and John Beranek will serve as co-chairs of the transition team, which includes eight other members from widely ranging political persuasions.
The transition team are:

- Kadyn Wittman, state representative, YMCA
- Scott Erickson, American Bank & Trust, Commissioner – South Dakota Housing Development Authority
- Rick Kiley, teacher, former Sioux Falls City Councilor, Sioux Falls Charter Revision Commission
- Tamien Dysart, Think 3D Solutions, Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce Board
- Alex Jensen, Henry Carlson Construction, former Sioux Falls City Councilor, former state representative
- Jodi Schwan, Align Content Studio, former chief of staff for Sioux Falls Mayor Dave Munson
- Justin Smith, Woods Fuller LLP, Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation Board, formerly on Sioux Falls Charter Revision Commission
- Karlie Solum, Marsh McLennan Agency
So far, Jamie Smith, who lost by four votes, hasn’t conceded the race and is still weighing potential legal action. He has scheduled a news conference for Tuesday morning. In the meantime, Erickson is gearing up to start work on next year’s city budget.
