SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — This is a big weekend for the Sioux Falls Stampede as the Herd plays its home season opener Saturday night. There will be jersey and mini championship banner giveaways, a tailgate party and the defending Clark Cup Champions will hoist last season’s championship banner into the rafters of the Premier Center. Ryder Betzold played with the team last year, and is already off to a good start with four goals in two games this season. “It feels good. We’re starting to connect a little bit better after we lost our first game. We bounced back on the second one, and we’re headed in the right direction now.”
The puck drops at 6:05 for the home opener Saturday night, and you can skate with the team after the game against the Sioux City Musketeers.
