The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office says a grain dryer fire caused $30,000 of damage.
The sheriff’s office and local fire departments were sent to the fire at a farm on 218th Street around 8:30 a.m. on Friday.
The flames were seen about eight feet over the grain dryer.
The fire was quickly extinguished by fire crews after they partially disassembled the machine.
