Mountain lion spotted in downtown Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — While rare in Sioux Falls, a mountain lion has been spotted in Downtown.  The last time a lion was seen in city limits was  2023.  South Dakota Game Fish and Parks confirmed with Animal Control that the sightings were those of a young mountain lion.  Authorities are telling people to use caution, and if you sight one, please call 367-7000.
