RAPID CITY, SD (KELO.com) — A man is dead after Rapid City police arrested him Tuesday night.
Police took the man into custody around 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday because he was acting erratically and appeared to be under the influence of drugs.
During the arrest, he became combative, bit an officer, and was tased and placed in a WRAP restraint.
When they arrived at the jail, the man was unresponsive and taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
