SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Emergency crews responded to the 4800 Block of N. 4th Ave for a single vehicle ATV crash.
The investigation revealed that the ATV was heading southbound on 4th Ave and failed to negotiate a curve in the road and struck the curb on the west side of the street.
Once the ATV struck the curb, the rider was thrown from the ATV and struck a concrete driveway approach.
The rider was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead on scene.
